NEVICATA

We took the name for this design from the Italian word for snowflake, which is what this delicate design motif reminded us of when we first saw it. It is actually but one element in a Belgian surface decoration from the Renaissance. We cut a stencil of it by hand and then created a silkscreen in three colors.
