SAFI (Archived)

This design was inspired by Arabian and Moorish borders, wherein the geometric principles dominate. However, we wanted to create a large scale lattice that was open and airy, so we adapted one of these border designs to hand cut a stencil into a diamond shape, thereby creating the openwork feel for hand printed fabric and wallpaper.
