BERAIN
This design originated as a border for a Berainesque Swedish design for a wallpaper in the 18th century. Named for Jean Berain, a 17th century French designer and draughtsman, we realized that hand stenciling the border repeatedly would make an excellent allover design in a small scale, hand printed in any number of stock and custom colorways.
