ISTANBUL (Archived)

Walking in Istanbul between the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace we spotted this design painted as a fresco on the side of a building and photographed it. Back in New York, we hand cut a stencil of it and turned it into a silkscreen in three colors, trying to capture the rich artistic and cultural heritage of this amazing city on the Bosporus.
